Oranges

The fruit stand has some tasty looking specimens on offer. My huband and I recently bought an orange press, so we've been making our own juice. Most everything tastes better when it comes from the stand - they haven't let me down yet. I'm sure the oranges and grapefruit won't be any different.

As you can see, I've changed the look of my blog. I'm still not sure if this will be the final version, but any tips, advice would be welcome.

I just had a peach. Love the fruit.

We had a great day yesterday and looks like at the start of a good day today.

It was, however, HOT yesterday. In fact, I was complaining about is so much, the thermometer on my dashboard was having fun pulling a fast one over on me -- it kept saying it was 100. I got the last laugh though -- I put a piece of tape over it. Told it that it could come back out when it agreed to say 75 degrees. Still waiting.

Fruit and veggies are always wonderfully colorful subjects. I suspect Mother Nature planned the vibrant colors just to entice us and eat stuff that's good for us. I like the arrangement of these oranges and grapefruit.

I like all your colorful photos! They sure have the oranges staked neatly.

Nice capture of the interesting composition the fruit vendor obligingly (if unwittingly) arranged for you! When "Louis" lived in France, he especially enjoyed the marché in Antony on the south-west side of Paris. "Louis" et Mme. la Vache prefer to buy their fruits and vegetables at the Farmer's markets near Chez la Vache.
