This is actually considered a good wage, considering that federal minimum wage is $5.85 per hour. In fact, this is more than the cafe at Starbucks offered me a few months ago!
Maybe I should consider a career in burger flipping... I wonder if they would make special considerations for vegetarians.

This is at the corner of Spillway Road and Old Fannin, right? My mother and I used to live in the Timberlake Campground just past this intersection, on the left.
