Sky Watch Friday

My husband and I had lunch at this Ruby Tuesday today. They have a lovely salad bar.

The weather has been strange today, the air is heavy and oppressive and it's been raining on and off. You can see the weighty clouds just waiting to let it pour.

Take a look at some of the other skies around the world today!

Your sky is very much like the sky we had today. Then it finally began to rain and we got a nice rain out of it. Nice photo for SWF.

Did you get the storms?

Having grown up in the Texas Panhandle, Louis la Vache knows well the weather you picture here! It often presaged a hail storm and or tornado!

@Tanya: We did not really get the storms here in Jackson. It just rained on and off and there were strong winds.

@Louis: We did not get any severe weather here today. But there were tornado watches out in other parts of the state. They still haven't cleaned up the tornado that hit here three weeks ago!

Ruby Tuesday?
That reminded me of an old song by Rolling Stones ...
And a salad bar? Count me in!
And once inside, let those cloudspour whatever they want!

Ruby Tuesday is a chain of restaurants here in the US. It's similar to TGIFriday's or Applebee's.

The food is just ok and the atmosphere is the same wherever you go. It's the kind of place I'd only go for a workweek lunch - and even then, I'd only eat the salad bar. All the food is pre-prepared and then heated up.
