Crepe Myrtles

The crepe myrtles are out in force here in Jackson! Everywhere you look there are blossoms of light pink, dark pink and white framing your view.

Yesterday my husband and I played an early round of golf before work (we are still somewhat on Berlin time) and I couldn't believe how beautiful they were. I hope everyone has a happy weekend!

Must be a beautiful site! My Mom's Place in Kentucky has them along her fence line.

These are such lovely trees/bushes. I can imagine the trees in Jackson must be stunning at this time of year.

The early bird catches the worm as well as a game of golf. I'm more into the sleeping business unfortunately...

Golf before work? Sounds like life in Mississippi IS good. (Sorry, couldn't resist) :-)

I love crepe myrtles. When my mom passed away, the neighbors gave me one to plant in her memory.

Apologies for not commenting a lot lately. . .stress of the retirement thing has me a bit out of sorts. Thanks for understanding!
