Okay, I promised that today's post would not be critter related. I lied. If you look closely, you'll see a mockingbird perched on the branch.
We've had plenty of blue skies and heat lately. It's good for my tomatoes, but not so good for my golf game. Take a look at other skies from around the world at the skywatch blog.

Halcyon: No reason not to have a critter in the shot, beautiful Sky.
Well, it's a sky picture around a critter. Nice.
My Skywatch this week is here - the skies over Bangkok and Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand.
Pretty summer sky. The view is being enjoyed by the mockingbird, too. Great photo!!
Wonderful sky which we all share!
Halcyon...you keep the critters coming..:O)
Please forgive this 'copy & paste' part of my comment but I am on my rounds checking all the links but wanted you to know I have seen your post and will try to get back again.
On behalf of all other Sky Watchers the team thank you for taking part this week.

First, my apologies for a bit of cut and paste commenting. I have been doing the rounds via Bloglines and looking at all the pictures from my favourite photo blogs, but haven’t been leaving comments. Generally, I try to comment as much as I can (I know how good it is for ‘morale’ to know that someone is out there appreciating them), but after the birth of my second son, I am a bit knackered to think up something witty and insightful on the hop. Thus the resort to Control+C and Control+P!

A many critters as you like for me.
Lovely scene and a bird I would love to photograph, but not around my way.
Lovely skies!
Looks like it wasn't overly humid when you took this picture! I lived in Starkville, MS for a number of years, but we didn't go down to Jackson very often. Have a great weekend!

Ohhhh... It's very hard for me to take pictures like yours. My lenses aren't that good. Congrats!
I think the mockingbird just makes the photo.
Beautiful shot! And mockingbirds are always cool.
