My Roses

The rose garden seems to be doing very well so far. This is one of the Queen Elizabeth bushes we planted. The only plant that doesn't have any blooms is the Peace rose, but it does have some buds, so hopefully we'll see some more flowers soon. They're all so beautiful!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I am not looking forward to Monday.

Although this is a grandiflora variety - it does have a slight fragrance.

Lovely blossoms. I know you're proud of them. I hope the Peace does just as well.

I must give all the credit to my dear husband! And this photo was taken in the morning. By the end of the day in the Mississippi sun, they don't look so fresh!

My mom had a Peace Rose in our front yard for years--it's one of the very few things I truly miss while living in an apartment!
