Art Deco?

I like the look of the Bank Plus building in Fondren. It looks sort of art deco-y to me and I love that type of architecture.

I like the building. It's much more modern looking than I would have expected in Jackson.

That does have a sort of art deco look. I love your sky shot on the skywatch homepage.

I like this too, very much. Your photo is wonderful, too, catching that beautiful afternoon light!

It does look vintage. I love art deco features too.
The sunset glow makes it even more interesting.

Definitely deco-inspired if not the genuine article. You've captured the building beautifully.

It looks so different from the copycat building you see around everyday, the light too is very good.

I'm with you on art deco style especially against such a blue sky.

«Louis» likes the art deco style, too. Oakland, CA, interestingly (at least to «Louis») has more surviving art deco buildings than any city in the Bay Area. The most famous of these is the Paramount Theater.

Hee hee hee - the word verification for «Louis's» post is "mysin." And to think «Louis» went to church this morning. Ah! As Martin Luther said we are at once Saint and Sinner... But how was Google to know?
