Cups...

Last week I auditioned for two different shows in Jackson, one Fondren Theatre Workshop and the other with New Stage. I have a tradition of stopping in at Cups to get myself energized before trying out. Funnily enough, I got offered parts in both plays, but I'll only be able to do the one with New Stage. It's called The Shape of Things and I'm very excited!

This particular Cups was new to me. It's located in a small shopping center called The French Quarter. I'll introduce you to my fab barista tomorrow.

I think we all have a favorite "energizing" place like Cups.

un bon expresso, humm et dans le quartier français....(il y a beaucoup de français dans ce quartier ?)

Olivier: Ce n’est pas vraiment un quartier français, mais un petit centre commercial qui ressemble le quartier français a Nouvelle Orléans.

A French Quarter in Jackson? How exciting is that! Cups must be a chain in that area...never heard of it before.

But their coffee works - I mean, you did get offered two parts!

Good luck!

I like their name! Sounds like they did their job it you got offered both parts!

I am familiar with that CUPS. The French Quarter also houses my favorite liquor store! If you are ever near my neck of the woods, there is also a CUPS on the corner of Old Fannin and Lakeland Drive.

Snicker Doodle? Never heard of a flavor like that before but it sure sounds yummy!

Hilda: Snicker doodle is a cinnamon sugar cookie. Very tasty!
