My trip to Berlin started with a quick stopover in Washington, D.C. It was a clear day and we got a great view of the Pentagon on the way out. Sadly, I've never actually visited our nation's capitol, but I hope to one day!
Going on vacation? It's a great shot of the Pentagon. DC is great; so much history. Do go, stop, and enjoy the sights. PS. Still not back permanently. Stay happy while I'm on sabbatical.
That is a beautiful shot of the Pentagon! I've been to DC many times since my sister lives in nearby Baltimore. There is so much to see and most of it is free too which is great. It gets really hot in the summertime though.

Very nice shot...my photos from airplanes leave a lot to be desired. One can certainly see the penta in the pentagon here.

It took me a long time before I discovered why the Pentagon was called such! I guess I never really just questioned it. ;D
