A photographic look at life in Jackson, Mississippi and the surrounding area
Junco
I've seen this little brother at my feeder a couple of times now. Unfortunately he never gets close enough for a full picture. He's pretty though and I hope he comes back so I can get his full portrait!
Lois: I find that a lot of the birds seem to know they're being photographed. It's funny. I did crop this photo, but unfortunately his feet weren't in the picture.
D: I have a Wingscapes bird camera out in my yard that catches all these little guys. Although the pics do not always come out as I would like them too, it's still a lot of fun!

coucou Junco ;o) il est intrigué par cette personne qui lui prend son portrait ;o)
He is cute! He seems to be looking right at the camera too.

Well, he's looking right at you. That's pretty brave for someone who's been camera shy!

He knows! I'm sure he knows about the camera... Nicely caught anyway!
Et c'est qui qui s'est fait tirer le portrait en regardant bien l'objectif ?
Birds are stinkers - I don't usually even try to snap their pics because of it, but this is a cool shot!
Someone once said that 2/3rds is better than nothing! You'll get him at some point!
Re: Ocala DP - Your city "fathers" are tough there in Jackson. Must want to keep the city beautiful!
Truely a glimpse of the pigeon!
