A photographic look at life in Jackson, Mississippi and the surrounding area
Record Snowfall
The Oklahoma City winter snowstorm of December 2009 will be one to remember! 14.1 inches of snow!! I think we should do the holidays in Jackson next year.
We're driving home today. The interstates in Oklahoma city were not totally cleared yet. And I've never seen so many abandonned cars! The roads in Texas are smooth sailing so far though. Hope Louisiana is the same!

~That is a LOT of snow! I can sympathize with you; I hope that your city has good snow removal equipment!
Ah oui, ça fait une belle couche ! Tu n'aimes pas la neige ? ;-)
But at least you had a white Christmas! That is a lot of snow.

Hope you enjoyed a wonderful holiday!
«Louis» remembers snow in the winters he lived in OKC, but not this much!
Brrrrrrr!!!!!!
Made it home. Hope this is all the snow I'll see in 2009 - 14 inches was plenty!!!
Glad to know you're at home, but this remains an impressive shot!
Eek. But it's a gorgeous shot!
I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas! Wishing you a joyful, peaceful and love-filled new year.
