Art!

My husband and I made it to the MMA just in time to see the Jim Henson exhibition. I did not know this before, but Henson is a native Mississippian! He created the beloved Muppets and contributed greatly to children's educational television with his characters on Sesame Street.

The exhibit was very interesting. I learned what the puppets were made of and how they were operated. We also saw early sketches and ideas that turned into stories and characters we know and love. It's a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian. I would definitely recommend seeing it if it comes to your area.

Although I grew up in the Henson era, I never did see much of the Muppets...but he was a very creative man and passed way too soon!

Oh I always loved The Muppet Show and Fraggle Rock. My kids of course loved Sesame Street. This sounds like a fun and interesting exhibit!

To B SQUARED: Sorry to break this to you, but the Muppets are fictional, somewhat like your RELIABLE Yugo...
