This picture was taken last Friday on the golf course. This is one of my favorite holes. It's a nice little par 3 over the water. And it looks fantastic when all the flowers are in bloom.
Happy Friday everyone! To see other skies from around the world, click on the skywatch link. I'll be out of town this weekend in Biloxi. Enjoy Jackson DP on autopilot.

That is a truly beautiful scene. I especially like the reflection.
You're right I would hate to go to Mississippi in the summer. I spent the whole summer of 1986 in Meridian Mississippi and it was terribly hot. I lived in Irving Texas from 2007 to mid 2009 and I think it's even hotter there. It gets over 100F during the day and almost never dips below 80F at night. Lots of times it's 3am and about 90F. It's humid in Newtown in the summer but at least it cools down a bit at night. :)
I hope you your golf ball didn't end up in the water!
Easy to see why its one of your favorites.
It certainly looks idyllic!
I can sure see why you like it.
Absolutely lovely!
I do remember thinking how dumb it was to hit a little ball for miles each Sunday morning, using a stick, when people could shoot pool, get drunk or turn over outside toilets.
I remember when I worked in engineering talking about why do you spend so much time playing golf when you could be at home with your wife.
I never realized it then but I asked the question and answered it.
Which makes your photo of this hole on Friday a week ago, something of a historical observation retweeted.
What a lovely reflection!
Methinks I'd like to play that course. This is just gorgeous...looks like Augusta!
Re your comment on Ocala DP: Now you tell me! Yikes!
Wow ....well that certainly looks like a nice place to golf....
