I was called for jury duty last week. Luckily, it hasn't been a full two years since I served on a jury and I was excused. As I was leaving, I got this wonderful shot of the courthouse with a blue, blue sky overhead. It was too pretty out to sit around judging someone anyway!
Happy Friday everyone! To see more skies from around the world, click on the Skywatch link.

Interestingly, I have NEVER been called for jury duty. Wonder why. Your sky looks clear blue. I'm back in St. Paul again and missing Santa Fe already. Come visit me at BOTH blogs!
I see that beautiful sky is also reflected in the windows!
Love those blue sky and the courthouse building is pretty too. Happy weekend!

Beautiful and nice shot !! Great blog !!
Two reasons to be happy: excused from duty and that gorgeous clear blue sky. We see blue spots between the spring storm clouds, and I hope our skies will be clear like this soon.

whew! that was a close one.
: )
I am sure to find more interesting taking pictures outside than standing inside judging someone.
Kate: I think the county where I live must have a small jury pool. I have never been called anywhere else I have ever lived. And now I get called twice within two years??
Kim: It was a beautiful day, but still a bit chilly. Luckily we've warmed up since then.
VP: It was a civil case at least, so I woudn't have been sending anyone to jail. I wouldn't like to do that.
You were able to take advantage of your situation and come out with a great skywatch photo. Nice-looking courthouse, too.
Etre juré, c'est une de mes hantises...
Bon weekend sous le ciel bleu !

Nice public building against the blue sky! I served on a jury a couple of years ago on an aggregated assault case!
That's a lovely courthouse. I really have a thing for curved buildings.
I can't even begin to imagine serving on a jury. We don't and can't use the system here, not for a long time yet.
Looks really great!

Jury duty is somethign is only know from tv. We have a totally different law system (which fails just as bad sometimes i am afraid, a woman got release yesterday after having spent 8 yrs in prison for several murders she didnt commit)Anyway, i am drifting away from your comment; why wouldnt you want to do your jury duty? Seems fascinating to me!
