Holy Cow!

If you haven't tried Louis La Vache's coffee yet, get your order in toute suite! My husband and I have had such a hard time finding a good roast with a nice European (i.e. strong) flavor. But I think we have it now. We always drink a lovely coffee on the weekends and my husband gave this one the highest compliment "it's very coffee-y". All I said was yummm!!

Next weekend, oatmeal waffles from the Leif Hagen family recipe.

I never heard of it before. We get some coffee from Columbia that is really rich.

My husband loves his coffee machine in the kitchen.
Your photo is very good, and I love the colors and the size of the coffee in the glases.

The flower is a gladiola from our garden.

My husband uses an Italian espresso cooker (not a machine) and we have a milk jug with a small hand pump that you can put directly on the heat and then pump to create the foam. It's a bit of work, so that's why we only have lovely coffees on the weekend. :)

I should also say, the grind for the Italian espresso cooker was perfect. Since not many people use those in the US, it's also hard to find coffee that is not too fine or too coarse.

I know what you mean. Coffee without a strong taste isn't really coffee at all. It's something else.

Love the flower, I hope the coffee is good but it is a bit oversize for us...

(BLUSH!)
«Louis» wasn't able to visit yesterday. He thanks you for your kind words about his coffee.

His temporary website is HERE. The "real" website should go live later this week.

Many, many thanks!
