Shopping

My husband and I are headed to Germany tomorrow. When our friends know we're coming, they put in a shopping list of stuff that's cheaper to buy here than there. One friend wanted a pair of Converse All Stars for her daughter. I thought these were ultra-cute, she did too so they are now packed away in my giant dragger, ready for take-off.

It looks like you found those shoes in that high-fashion French retailer Tar-zhay!

Have a fantastic trip! Astoria does have an amazing past, being one of the main ports used for shanghaiing people. There's a play about it every summer.

Converse! Boy that name brings back memories...I didn't even know they made these things anymore.

Nice of you to provide such a service for your friends, but I'm sure they reciprocate from Germany, too.

Have a wonderful trip. Will you be blogging some while you're gone?

Levi's, Converse, ... - ist wirklich alles sehr viel teurer in Deutschland. Ich wünsche Euch einen schönen Aufenthalt.

PS: Ich hätte da auch noch einen Wunschzettel ;)

Have fun! I wish you were packing me away for the trip, too. I'd love to go to Germany. Will you meet any CDPB friends there?
