A photographic look at life in Jackson, Mississippi and the surrounding area
il est tres beau, et ce marie bien avec ton barbecue (enfin je pense que c'est un barbecue)
Fascinating bird, I only see them in a birdcage or zoo, but to be honest I con't remember if I ever have seen a Cardinal bird.
Lovely. We don't have Cardinals out here and I wish we did. I have never seen one up close and personal. MB
Cute Cardinal, wonderful shot! :)Léia
MB: We don't have bald eagles around here... so I guess it's a trade off whereever you live. :)
I always enjoy my cardinals! This guy is a beauty.
Gorgeous. I'm very happy that you got this photo, for you and for me--reminds me of being home in Jackson! Thanks for your best wishes for Mama.
Je suis d'accord avec Olivier. La classe, le cardinal qui se marie avec le bbq.
It's actually not a barbeque. It's a chimenea. You can burn your leaves and small branches in there. It's also nice if you like to sit outdoors when the weather is a bit cool. :)
They are such pretty birds. We had some in our backyard in Ocala ... but the bluebirds often chased them away...
Looks like you're surrounded by woods, too. Love that! Nice cardinal, too. We tend to have a lot of them around most of the time, but I was surprised to count 34 of them yesterday evening!
I'm always pleased to see cardinals in my yard too. Unfortunately I'm afraid a gang of blue jays may have frightened a pair of cardinals off...or maybe I have just missed their visits to our feeders.
His brethren and sistren were around West Hartford over the weekend.
I have several who frequent my feeder. I think they're one of everyone's favorites. Love that BRIGHT red!Kathttp://inmydreamssfk.blogspot.com/
