Icy Bug

The Halcyon Bug got a few icicles during the ice storm Sunday night. This is how my car looked on Monday morning. I know those of you up north are probably laughing, but these are big icicles for the south!

I don't know about the folks up north but some of us down south are laughing! What are you doing with icicles in Mississippi?

I'm surprised it gets that cold in Mississippi! I have a LOT to learn. :)

Don't feel bad. Years ago when I lived in Canada I had a security job just a few blocks from Niagara Falls. I worked 13 hr nights. At the end of my first shift, I went out to find my car completely encased in a good, solid inch of ice. Yes, I had a scraper--in the TRUNK. Needless to say, I didn't make that mistake again, although the scraper wasn't terribly helpful. I ended up bringing a hammer with me & had to chip away the ice with the claw end. Took almost an hour every day just to get into my car.
I don't miss that AT ALL!

(BTW, as far as the humping giraffes go, yes the women leaving the paddock were a clearly panicked mass. It was so silly.)

You won't get so iced in in T.O.--don't worry. It was the mist of the Falls that coated my car for 13 hrs straight.
Pop me an e-mail, though. I spent a year in T.O. (& still have friends there.) Do you know where you're moving yet?
