February Theme Day: Fountains

This one comes to you from the Jackson Zoo, complete with beautiful fall colors! I've been using some shots from the archives because I've been busy lately with other occupations, like home improvements!

Remember back at the first of the month, I said there was some big news in the works, well here it is... I'm moving to Toronto in March! But don't get too sad yet, JDP will live on under the guidance of my friend, Dreamer's Click. He will be doing some guest posts in February to get the hang of things and sometime after he'll take over full time.

I'm very excited about the new adventures ahead of me. There are still a few hurdles to overcome (like selling a house), but I am looking forward to good times in Canada. And hopefully I'll find time to open a daily photo blog up there too!

Happy theme day everyone. To see more fountains from around the world, click here. I've also got a bonus fountain shot on my travel blog.

Love the simplicity of this fountain, not to mention the glorious colours in the trees.

My goodness, what news! You will see some changes moving from Jackson to Toronto. Looking forward to a new Toronto blog from you! And to following your blog that will live on. That is so nice that it will continue.

It's a beautiful scene...much more pleasant than ice and snow with waterless fountains!

My goodness, but you will be busy and we will miss you. I feel certain that you'll get into theToronto scene and please us with your photos from there as you have been doing here. Looking forward to your new blog!!

Toronto!? COOL! This looks like a nice garden, not what I would expect at a zoo.

What a surprise - kinda nice and kinda sad. Your Jackson photos will be missed, but it's wonderful that you've got someone to take over. I think Toronto may offer more challenging photo opportunities and thus more ways to put your skills to work. I shall look forward to them.

Glad you're excited. Moving's a big job - but you know that for sure! And it's so nice to look forward to a new and different life in such an exciting city!

Almost forgot to tell you what a beautiful fall photo this is. Those colors are so peaceful and calming.

Nice fountain photo. And, your news! I knew the Multiple Sailors were going to uproot you soon; Toronto is a nice place. I follow Redpat's Occasional Toronto and admire all of the public art up there. It will be good seeing your slant on it, too. Good luck!

I love that feeling of something new. I felt that way when we moved from Phoenix to Santa Fe. Excellent photo!

Such a beautiful photo and exciting news! I really hope you open a Toronto CDP blog. We'll miss you too much otherwise.

Good luck with the preparations for the big move! I should introduce you to my brother. And a friend who accepts (absolutely yummy) food orders. :)

Ah! I wondered what you would do with the Jackson Daily Photo blog!

I hope you DO start a blog from Toronto as I'm very curious to know what would catch your eye here!

Oh wow oh wow!!! You're moving too!!! And to another country!!! How exciting!!! (Notice I still haven't been able to stop using exclamation marks! *wink) That's great how you have someone to keep up the lovely photos of Jackson. Can't wait to see you photos of Torono, too!

Things are probably going to be hectic for a while but I hope everything works out for you :-)
