Fishin' Hole

You know it's hot in Mississippi when the local fishing hole is nearly empty on a Sunday afternoon!

This place is usually teeming with fishers, all looking to take home a tasty treat for dinner. Temperatures were in the 100s today, so the fish hookers were probably at home trying to beat the heat. Perhaps I'll try my hand at hooking and reeling one of these days, but only once the temps have dropped.

This is the reservoir spillway, right? Never have I ever seen just one person fishing. That's amazing. You ought to be proud of yourself for catching such an historical moment in metropolitan Jackson fishing.

It is the fishing spot just across the spillway. It was over 100 degrees that day and I think people were just trying to escape the heat!
