A photographic look at life in Jackson, Mississippi and the surrounding area
Home Sweet Home
This is the place my husband and I will now call home! We just signed the papers on it today, although we won't officially be moving in until February 16th. I can't wait to have a big kitchen and more space, I am sick of apartment life!

Congratulations. It looks lovely. Do houses there have shutters like here?
Houses here generally do not have those rolling stores like they have in France, unless they live in a hurricane-prone area.
Some of the newer houses have real working shutters on the outside, but most of them are just decorative. And even if they are real, people don't really close them. We just use curtains or blinds on the inside.
Congratulations on your house! When we moved here, we had to wait about 5 months until our house was finished, and I HATED living in an apt. Your house looks lovely!
You will like living there. I like the big trees behind the house. I can imagine the house will offer all of the comforts of a real home. Congratulations.

Is this a current picture? Everything is green...and you know how "dead' looking everything here in Oklahoma is right now.
Decorating your own home will be so exciting.
