A photographic look at life in Jackson, Mississippi and the surrounding area
Bottle Tree
I spotted this bottle tree at the Mississippi Crafts Center. They are very popular here in the south, many people have them in their backyards around the golf course. They can be very pretty, especially with colorful bottles.
I stayed with my friend near to Columbus, Ohio, recently and she has a blue bottle tree. In fact I'd sent her some bottles from France (very well packed!) - she's from Memphis so perhaps it's a southern 'thing.' I love her tree and this one in your photograph.

Hello..just stopped by to look. Cheers from West Sacramento Photo of the Day.
Bottle trees are regaining popularity here too. I really like the cobalt blue bottles.
=) i've seen these at the flea market in canton, love these blue bottles!
btw... my moon pic was taken right at dusk when the unlit part was still visible =)

Were they for sale, bottles included? Nice photo. We used to have a bottle tree when we lived in Byram. Mama and I really enjoyed it.
