My husband and I spent some of our economic stimulus check at the Williams-Sonoma. They always know how to make pots and pans look really good!

Is there a time limit involved so that you have to spend the check before a certain date?

Do you have to spend it on US manufactured goods?

I think you have a one year time frame to cash the check.

You don't have to spend it on US manufactured goods (which would be rather difficult since almost everything here comes from China these days!). In fact, you don't have to spend it at all. You can also let it nestle and grow in your bank account. :)

Amazing. Stimulus checks went for everything under the sun I am guessing. I would never have thought about pots and pans. I am not sure what we did with our check. I know we split it. She took half and I took half. After that it is all a blur.

It seems odd that you’d spend so much to ‘stimulate’ spending, and yet let people save it.

I like that window too. I swore I was going to save my ES check to spend in PARIS just to be a rebel, but ended up spending here. I am hopeless.
