The Late Night Double Feature Picture Show...

Last night a friend of mine and I went to audition for the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Many of the auditionees dressed up, and had on the full make-up.

I would like to play to role of Columbia and I tried my best to play up my tap dancing skills. Although I didn't get dressed up, I did put on some heavy eyeliner. But I got the feeling the main roles were already cast ahead of time. Whatever the outcome, it was fun to see some of my buddies from the last Fondren show I did. And it's always good to meet new people!

PS: I saw a glimmer of sunlight through the clouds on my way to work this morning. Let's hope it bursts through. I am sick of the rain and grey skies.

We're back in the Big Easy. We had a mostly smooth ride through Mississippi -- some really gusty weather and gas stations were packed.

Now we are dealing with the joys and horrors of living in a city without electricity. Joys? There is the sound of birds chirping everywhere (No air conditioning units humming)

Thought I left a comment earlier. . . .Hmmmm

Good luck with the audition. Let us know the results!!

I agree with you about fads. . .same thing happened with scrapbooking craze. I was in the paper arts biz almost 10 years, but some people came in thinking they were going to make a killing on scrapbooking and didn't last too long. . .found out that you have to sell a lot of 50cent paper to pay the rent and that you have to work and can't scrap all day. ;-)

Good luck! I still remember the first time I saw this when I snuck out of the house with my friends at age 15...

Nothing like a good "Science Fiction Double Feature!"
