Ridgeland High School

This is the back entrance to the high school where we are currently putting together our production of Murder on the Nile. The high school has graciously allowed us to use their cafeteria stage for our performance. The only downside is it's a one-weekend only deal. It seems rather sad to have put all of this work into a play for only three performances, but it has been fun.

Dress rehearsals start next week with opening night on Friday. I'll post some pictures of the set tomorrow - it's almost finished!

That's a lovely looking high school! Very few schools here look that good, and those would be the private ones.

I'm so excited for you! I hope everything goes well! Looking forward to an insider's view of a play. I'm always just part of the audience. :)

c'est superbe, tu dois être contente et exciter. J'espère qu'il y aura une petite vidéo, que l'on puisse en profiter aussi.

it is superb, you have to be happy and excited. I hope there will be a short video that could benefit too.

Thanks for your words of encouragement.

Hilda: I live in Madison, which is a suburb of Jackson. Our mayor passed an ordinance that all buildings must be brick. So schools, houses and even office buildings all have brick facades. It gets sort of boring when you live here and see brick, brick, brick all the time. But I guess it's different to outsiders.

Olivier: If I find someone to make a short video of my scene, I'll post it. Maybe I can do it during the dress rehearsals when it won't be bothersome to the audience.

Sound like fun. Break a leg (if that's still the thing to say).

And have a great weekend!

p.s. -- And glad to see you're back in blogging!
