A photographic look at life in Jackson, Mississippi and the surrounding area
une bonne idée, mais tu aurais du réussir à mettre la balle dans le trou ;o))
Ah the first golf flag for today's theme. Well done.
This is such a clever choice!
Thanks fro comment, Halcyon! Is yellow is a common colour for golf flag? I don't play so I don't know, but as Jilly suggested there may be another place using yellow flag.. Love the contrast of colour it's very good on green and white ball.
Different golf clubs have different colors of flags. But yellow is not uncommon. Usually they are bright so you can see them from a distance.
Your score was?
If that's a par 3, great shot.
how clever of you to tie theme day into one of your favorite things!
Unfortunately, not a par 3 - just a photo I set up. I don't remember what my score was that day - I guess that means it wasn't that good, otherwise it'd be etched in memory!
Funny, I felt the same way about the theme choice, but after seeing all the wonderful posts I wonder why I had so much trouble finding "yellow". Your choice is excellent, especially since it involves part of your life.
Very smart! Not being a golfer, I would not have thought of this one.
Surely with your name being Halcyon you must have lots of golden/yellow thoughts! Nice shot, like Lavenderlady, I too would not have thought of this.
Hope you didn't miss the putt from there ....
Halcyon, I read your posts on CDPB about not getting picked up for Theme Days. Frankly, I'm fed up, lately it's a hassle to get my photo on there - I'm still not on there for this month and did everything correctly - so I don't think I'll bother with it anymore.Nice catch on the golf course. Is that grass real or just well manicured?
Good job. You mean that isn't where you ball ended up after your drive?
Very appropriate for your sport!
Hi PJ! I will probably still continue to post on the theme days. I do enjoy trying to find something that will fit each month. Maybe I just won't worry if it shows up on the "official" page though. And yes, that is real grass. They take special care of the "greens" (the putting area of each hole) to make sure the grass is nice and firm so your ball will roll nicely.
This is sooo you! LOL! And perfect for theme day! Ham's comment got me chuckling :D
Fitting indeed! happy theme day!
