Life on the Course

There are many nice houses on the golf course we play. I especially like this particular garden. There are lots of boxes for the birds to make homes in and feeders too!

Everyone keep their fingers crossed for me today. I'm auditioning for A Few Good Men at Actor's Playhouse and there's only one role for a woman.

I hope you don't have intimate knowledge of that garden. Hit 'em straight. Good luck!

Grand looking house!

I'm keeping all my fingers — and toes too — crossed for you!

Theater season has started here. Yay!

Lovely home on a lovely lot. How DO golfers keep from knocking out windows of the homes along the course? I've always wondered! (You can tell that I don't play golf.)

Good luck on the audition.

Ranbling Round: Some houses do get hit with golf balls. But usually the houses are positioned such that the windows are not in a hitable area. But sometimes mistakes happen!

The hole near this house is one of my favorites. It's a short par 3 that I've birdied on more than one occaison. The tee off area is actually facing away from the yard, so someone would have to hit a really crazy ball to hit their windows!

Thanks for all the wishes. I'll keep you updated!

Yep, fingers and toes crossed!

Theater season will start in a few weeks here, I've got a ticket already for The Three Musketeers.

Good luck! That will be quite an achievement, being selected to play the only woman role!

C'est une très jolie maison and yes the fingers are crossed (it's harder to cross the toes!)

That is nice! I just found your blog and am really enjoying it. I hope you get those pesky squirrels under control!

Well, I certainly think they ought to pick the best actress which means you're a shoo-in!

Re: This house - what happens if you ball lands in the yard. Do you climb the fence, or cut your losses and continue down the fairway?

Don't think I'd like living by a golf course...broken windows, concussions?!

Good luck in the audition! Keeping my fingers crossed...sending you much energy.

I'm amazed that you continue to blog when involved in a play.

Oh, man! If I was going to be in that play I would want to get to be the guy that yells, "You can't handle the truth!" Too bad they won't let a girl play the part. I have said that line many times just like Jack and I think I have perfected it. Fingers crossed that you will get the part! How fun!
