Pink Crape Myrtle

This is a specimen I caught on the golf course. It provided some nice shade on the 16th hole, which is usually about the time I'm so exhausted I'm not sure how I'll make it until the end.

Also, my sincere thanks go out to Olivier at Evry Daily Photo for the Major Award. I am making sure it passes into good legs.

Here are my choices for three bloggers that always bring a smile to my face.

Sam at Versailles Daily Photo

Those trees are always so attractive. Sounds like you are a serious golfer. I've always visited one of your three bloggers you selected for the award but unfamiliar with the other two. Now 2 more to add to my list. It's getting longer and longer and harder to comment ea. day!!

I thought my audition was good, but unfortunatley not enough people showedy up! They are putting the show on hold pending further notice. :(

Thank you so much. I receive infinitely more than I give. Always nice to know there are new ways to reach out and make friends.

The shade does look inviting!

The crepe myrtles are in full bloom here, too, and they are wonderful!

Congratulations on your award. I think you are very deserving of a major award!

Nothing like a bit of shade when the goal in sight!

Sounds like the audition thing ended in something of a disappointment for the time being. Hopefully that'll change.

Thanks for the friendly gesture! Your relentless support is very much appreciated. I'm beginning to feel that photoblogging is a powerful form of grass-roots globalization. And that's not half bad.

Congrats on the award! I love that it is a leg lamp, every time I see one I think to myself, "I must get one of those!" And a pretty crepe myrtle, too. Glad that it was kind and provided you with much needed shade and succor so near the end of the course when you needed it most.
