I listen to a local gardening show The Gestalt Gardener almost every week. A few weeks ago, the host Felder Rushing talked about something new - the Wingscapes camera. I finally decided to buy one and I've been experimenting with different set-ups. So far all I've caught is squirrels and mourning doves. But I'm hoping to get some of the nicer birds that come to my feeder. I'm starting a new tag for this series, they'll all be filed under Wingscapes.

Got him close up! It will interesting to see what else gets in the picture.
This is a great idea, I didn't know of this camera. You are starting a very interesting and funny series!
How neat is that? I have a feeling you'll get some really great pics in the future, although this one is pretty darn good...the little guy is almost directly in front of the lens...
un invité surprise ;o))
Yep, this will be interesting to follow. And a squirrel is not a bad catch to begin with. I haven't made one single decent squirrel shot throughout my suburban life.
I am going to have to check out that camera. This isnt a bird but I like the shot.
I got a mounting arm with the camera. It seemed like when I put it on the arm (facing the birdfeeder), the birds would all eat off the ground. But when I put it on the ground, the birds all ate out of the feeder!
In any case, it's back on the arm and we'll see what I get. Usually a lot of pictures of myself looking at the camera to see if it has more pictures yet! :)
