I get quite a few cardinals at my feeder. But as far as I'm concerned, they're always welcome!
PS: Today is the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. You may remember my post about some mini-walls I saw in a German shopping center while I was there. In fact they weren't walls at all, but giant dominos that were lined up and toppled today in celebration. What a neat idea!

Wow, we certainly don't have these 'in the wild'
Cardinals are welcome here also, they are the good guys, its the Yankees we dont like....oh talking birds..they are welcome here also, but I always heard they brought cold weather.
Beautiful red birds! Lovely photo - he posed nicely!
He'a a beauty!
They are so much fun to watch. Definitely my favorite.
ineke: Cardinals are actually quite common here. It's funny that they seem so exotic to outsiders.
This is really an excellent shot...he's looking right at the camera!
We get a lot of cardinals, too, at certain times, but I haven't ever gotten this good a shot.
I'll have to get a spy camera like you!
Jim K.: If they bring cold weather, it should be cold here year round! These guys are always at my feeder, but I do enjoy them.
Definitely! I get a lot of cardinals too and I love them!
Ils sont beaux ces oiseaux, tu as de la chance d'en voir souvent.
brilliant color, i love cardinals!
and to your question, no i didn't get my tub from an antique dealer. (probably should've) =) i ordered it from 'vintage tub and bath' online. it's a cast iron reproduction made like the old ones - and was made in china. it's beautiful though, and i'll be posting a photo in the next day or so! =)
These kind of photos are getting better and better. As you can see I have to content myself with sparrows...
He is so handsome!
That's so cool about the art dominoes! Our newspapers just showed aerial views and other long-distance photos, and it's fantastic to know that each piece was actually decorated.
Cardinals remain one of my favorite birds! What a glorious pose he gave you!
I have never seen or heard about "the Cardinal" as a bird. But it looks very pretty, and I learned something new!
Anyway, Germany have big celebrations going on, and I just heard that it is the country we in Norway, do most trade-buisness with.
