Fun at the Feeder

The house finches and the sparrows seem to be having great fun together. I'm glad my new squirrel-proof feeder has room for all of them!

My camera has arrived at the Nikon repair facility. Let's hope they are quick! My husband is taking me to Hawaii at the end of the month and it would be a shame if I didn't have my good camera.

Here's wishing everyone a good Friday and a wonderful weekend! There won't be any golfing for me this weekend - I'll be inside where it's warm!

How many feeders do you have, and who will take care of all those delightful birds while you're gone. I can only dream about Hawai'i and warm weather now. Today's not so cold, tho, only 1 degree F.

I, too, hope that your camera is quickly repaired; feels awful without it.

The birds have taken over your backyard! They're beautiful and that's a lovely feeder for a foto! Golf?? They'll be able to golf again here in Eagan in May, maybe. Bon weekend!

Kate: These are all photos from my archives. I used to use the red feeder but the squirrels were pillaging it so I bought the new one last summer. It's the only feeder I have out right now. It hasn't had many visitors lately either. I hope the birdies are staying warm!!

Your feeder seems to be busy like our feeder was yesterday with the same kinds of birds. Nice shot.

Oh my...the sun just popped out~

Looks like a party over there! Are we invited?

Hawaii! Ooh! I'm so glad you got your camera back in time too!

Chocolate-covered pineapple cookies… mmmmm! You have to get some!

I am really enjoying your bird pictures! I had to go outside the other day and scoop up all the seeds that the sparrows knocked to the ground during their daily feeding frenzies and put it back in the feeder. I left a little bit on the ground for the squirrels, but it was ridiculous how messy they were. I like watching them though!

This is such a great picture! And I'm pleased to hear that your feeder actually does keep out squirrels.

I hear you about golf. I figured once we moved in here, I'd be on the course in no time, but it's been just too darn cold! Well, there have been other things to do, too, but still...

I think I'd start calling Nikon every other day...you know, build a little fire under them. The only problem with that is it could make 'em mad and they might "lose" your camera for a few months.

So maybe you'd better ignore me. Most people are better off when they do that! :-)

A group picture at the feeder: your place is becoming known and crowded!
Best wishes for your good camera, hope you get it in time for the trip.

I really need to get one of these motion activated cameras! I would mainly catch squirrels in my yard, stealing my pecans :)
