A photographic look at life in Jackson, Mississippi and the surrounding area
Looks like hes just barely holding on.
je sais pas ce que c'est comme oiseau, ,mais il est beau avec ce bleu
I've never seen one before. I'm sure we don't have them this far south.
He is a tufted titmouse. They are songbirds that like woodlands areas. The neighborhood where I live used to be a pine forest and still has quite a few old pines, so we're lucky to have lots of feathered friends around!
I have quite a few of these little birds too! Yesterday my grandson and I saw three huge pileated woodpeckers in my backyard. Unfortunately they were so far up in the trees that I couldn't get a good picture. They were fun to watch though.
He look surprised!
Mme la Vache, being fond of birds, is enjoying this series even more than «Louis»!
Your bird-at-the-feeder series have given me a great deal of pleasure in viewing it.
looks to me like he just awoke.
One of my fave feathered friends, too -- big eyes and that muppet-like mohawk! Cute!
