A photographic look at life in Jackson, Mississippi and the surrounding area
German Specialties
Since we're on a food kick, here's a look at another German dish my husband recently cooked up. This one is stuffed peppers with dumplings with a creamy tomato sauce. It was divine!
You really are on a German food theme! Love Green peppers and intend to experiment with the fillings this coming summer. Photo makes it all look very tasty.
Steffe: I don't know if there's an official name for it, but my husband calls it stuffed paprika.
Kate: My husband is German and his family loved to cook, so he learned a lot from them! I used to think I didn't like German food b/c of all the meat. But he made me a batch of the stuffed peppers with the Morningstar meat substitue and they were delicious! I think you could also substitue a lentil mash or something similar.

That looks so good! Now I'm really hungry.
It looks delicious and it doesn't help that I skipped breakfast today!

He's hungry after reading your food posts!
A pity that I'm looking at this at 9am, I have to explore something more about German dishes!
