Live Music

After the theater, my husband and I stopped at Underground 119 for some drinks. We were lucky to catch some live music too! The band was called The Juvenators, but the man pictured here playing the harmonica was just a dude from the audience who asked if he could sit in on a couple of songs. Very cool!

My live action shots may not be up to snuff with Olivier's from Evry yet, but I'm working on it. I don't think this band was used to people taking their picture, especially with my big Nikon. I felt like a paparazzi.

A guy with the harmonica from the audience, this says it all... I'm sure it was an excellent end for a nice evening.

I haven't been to a 'joint' like this in a long time.

Live music is the best! Everytime I take my harp to a party nobody asks me to play ;)

VP: And it wasn't even just one harmonica. He had a case with five of them! He must have been hoping to play.

Brian: I have always wondered about harps. They look so unwieldy to carry around. If you managed to bring one to my party, I'd let you play!

I liked and even smiled at your comment, "I felt like a paparazzi."

I think you did a good job on this photo.

Please do not apologize in any sense of the word! This is a great photo...it's got interest, energy, excitement and is very well exposed! Go Nikon!

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

I find that it's hard to get a warm look when you are shooting in low light conditions. I edited this photo so the people weren't so green looking! Next time I think I'll adjust the ISO. I'm having fun learning though!
