Old School

The Watch They Keep was staged by the Clinton Brickstreet players inside the auditorium at the old Clinton junior high school where they have been performing for a number of years. As long as the city owned the property, they didn't mind renting it out at a reasonable price to the theater group. Unfortunately the property has been purchased by a private entity and the space will no longer be available. I hope this does not cause the Brickstreet Players to go defunct.

It's a nice old building in any case. The kids must have enjoyed those big windows back in the day.

Those large windows would make for cheerful classrooms.

It would indeed be sad for the Brickstreet Players to have to fold.

beau bâtiment en brique, on pourrait se croire dans le quartier de la cathédrale à Évry ;)

Imagine showcasing a railroad model exhibition in there. Sunlit bricks too. What else could one ask for? :)

Nice brick building and really huge windows. Ours, back at school, were too high to see outside, but these look quite right...

This looks so typical of many of the school buildings of my childhood and I still find them preferable to some of the modern atrocities being built these days!

That must have been a trip watching a one-legged man play golf. I've seen a one-armed man play. Amazing that they can overcome such handicaps. I have a hard enough time with two legs and two arms!

I really liked that combination of the brick wall and the glass windows! Looks fantastic!
