I've seen these devices on lots of golf courses. But these days, at Stone Creek, they put the phone number of the deli/bar in the golf cart so you can call at your convenience...everyone has a cell phone, it seems.
Bob Evans was a good ol' farmer boy from Indiana or Ohio or someplace like that who started a chain of restaurants featuring home-cooking...we have three of them here in Ocala which is really convenient because each is close to a different group of stores - you know, if you want to shop!
Jacob: I guess Bob Evans never made it down to the deep south. We have one Cracker Barrel though, although I've never eaten there.
My husband and I walk when we play at this particular course, so no number in the cart. And I usually leave my cell phone in the car. There's nothing worse than a ringtone interupting your swing!
Le panneau est incroyable ! J'ai l'impression qu'on va revoir cette photo sur un autre blog ! ;-) J'aime bien la lumière un peu rasante sur les arbres.
Halcyon, neither have I been to Scotland, but then I don't golf, so we are not living the same life from different home bases. I like the bench and the food service. Time for lunch!

You could probably tell people to play through and have a nice morning with your drinks.
very cool! i'll take a couple beers and some snacks!
Always good to have a place to sit and rest. How we indulge ourselves; what a society!!
This is the way golf should be played.

Louis: I'm actually running short on photos of anything other than golf and birds. I think I need to get out more!!

Would it be OK to skip those nine holes and order some extra snacks right at the outset? :)
Who needs room service, when you have bench service?
Now that's service!
Nice and shady too!
