June Theme Day: Signs

I think the name of this shopping "street" is highly pretentious, yet funny. I'm not fluent in Italian (this is from an Italian-themed shopping center), but it seems to be this street is named Curve of the Euro which could be translated to Curve of the Dollar. I'm not sure this was the intention, but the name is apt for a street inside a shopping center!

It's the beginning of a new month, that means it's theme day time! To see what other kinds of funny signs people from around the world have posted click here. I also have a treat for you on my travel blog.

Another meaning is possible as the value of the Euro is definitely on a downward curve!

J'adore le tee-shirt sur ton autre blog ! :-) Je ne connaissais pas le dollar curve mais je trouve le centre commercial très joli !

I really enjoyed walking through there. Renaissance is missing a fine Haberdashery.

P.S. I am new to blogger (all of 30 mins) but I an throughly enjoying these pics of places I see everyday! GREAT JOB

It looks like a big mall. The ones out here are pretty small.
Good idea for the theme. MB

Strange idea (and name) for a street and your translation is correct. I have never seen a street called 'curva' in Italian, even if not straight, and nowadays it lsounds more like some exchange rate graphic!

I LOVE this photo--the criss crossed lights are so flamboyant!

That is such a strange name, but at least the shopping center isn't hiding what they're really after!

Love the tent-shaped lights! Love the Hawaiian sign too! :)
