Pelican Cove by Night

A nighttime view on Jackson's hottest spot on The Rez! Boats can dock in the back and stop in for a bite or to fill up their tanks.

I bet Pelican Cove is just as inviting during the day.

I bet it's hopping with young, cool people, right?
I liked your fireworks collage from a couple of days ago!

A superb night photo, Halcyon! And you've given us good reason to believe this is the "hottest spot on The Rez!"

Re your comment on Paree: I can understand how much you must miss Paris! We fell in love with the city and hope to go back some day and spend more time there. But it was fun celebrating our 50th with dinner at the Eiffel Tower.

June 29 was our 53rd anniversary! And the kudos all go to Lois Anne!

Re Tijuana Flats: It's pretty much Tex-Mex food, but quite good. We hit the place every so often. It's fun and relaxing.

I am always a bit envious of night shots, and this is no exception.

Mais quand tu dis on the rez, tu veux dire on the Indian rez ?

Ciel: This Rez is a reservoir of water. It's a man-made lake that was created by daming up one of the rivers and letting it flood the area. The full name is the Ross Barnnett Reservoir, but everyone around here calls it the Rez.

We don't have any Native American reservations in Jackson, although there are a few in the state of Mississippi.

Ah, d'accord ! Je me disais aussi, les rez en pleine ville, c'est un peu beaucoup vachement rare... :-)
