Fall Roses

I had a bumper crop of roses this year. They bloomed all spring and summer and there are still quite a few buds this far into fall. I really enjoy these beauties.

Interesting about the Hindu temple. So happy that you are still getting roses and that you are sharing their beauty.

As for the hawkers on our blogs. It is amazing how good the computer generated comments are getting. All that stuff like, "so lovely you become and to see such happiness in your kind words." Are you as sick of it as I am????

That's a beauty! Seems like the last roses of summer are the ones we appreciate the most!

How lovely! I hear it's very hard to take care of roses, you must have a green thumb :-D

We had rosebushes already old thirty years ago when we bought our house. However, we never did very well with them and now simply enjoy them in other's gardens.

Lovely red!

Honestly, I don't do much to these roses. I cut off the old buds when they're spent and fertilize a couple of times a year. Luckily, we seem to have picked hearty varities.

How alluring to pick on after the other, until receiving the right answer.

I love roses, but have never been able to grow them well. This one is magnificent! Great color. Maybe you'll have some for Christmas?
