A photographic look at life in Jackson, Mississippi and the surrounding area
The Governor
This is a scene from the Old Capitol building. He's our real, fake old-timey governor! But the real governor would have worked from this very room, if not at this very desk.
Made me wonder what the desk does once the day reaches its end, whether one would hear it morn, crave, asking ... surely a place where history is being made.

un bureau assez sobre pour un gouverneur, j'aime bien cette vieille lampe.
Looks like he couldn't be voted out of office, so he must be there for life and beyond.
Neat picture, but if he were a REAL governor his desk should be messy and piled up with papers:-)
He looks a little tired to me!
Il est un peu pâle ce gouverneur, il doit trop travailler !
I'm sure there's a scandal here somewhere!
white after labor day? ugh. =)
Later this week, I'll have the real, fake Senators and Supreme Court too!
Made me wonder what the desk does once the day reaches its end, whether one would hear it morn, crave, asking ... surely a place where history is being made.
Please have a wonderful Wednesday.

The building must not be in use anymore. Interesting way to demonstrate what occurs.
I like all these real, fake old-timey displays. Sigh, but they're all men!
And you don't have to comment on that ;)
