Barn Home?

Does a Dutch barn-style home count as a barn? I shot this one near the Union cemetery in the Vicksburg National Military Park. It's a private residence, not sure who lives there. Perhaps one of the park rangers?

Intersting architecture, I am no expert but it really looks like a barn. A lovely and comfy one!

Looks like it was inspired by the 'barn' look, for sure! Cool find & welcome aboard! Thanks so much for participating

Interesting! I wouldn't be surprised if someone revamped an old barn to make it a home. I've seen it done on some of the decorating programs I love to watch. The high beam ceilings and wood floors make a lovely and unique residence.

It looks like a typical cape cod home. It does look like a Barn though!

I wonder if, in fact, it was a barn at one time. Kinda doubt it...looks too new. I like it, though.

And it's a lovely photograph!

Barn looking homes were quite popular out this at one time. Just right for that country look. MB

I wouldn't say that it counted as a barn, but still enjoyed seeing it. I always wanted to live in a barn...so this was not quite what I expected:-)

What a beautiful building. I'd like to call it my own.
