Kristos

Kristos is a new Greek place that opened recently near our house. We tried it out a few days back. The food was okay, but the service was terrible. Mediterranean grill is still the top spot in the city for felafel and hummus - what people around here call "Greek" food.

Well I guess you won't be going back there. MB

MB: Probably not. In addition to the poor service and mediocre food, there was a dead cat in their parking lot. It was a strange experience all around.

OK. I promise. I won't go there either until they fix up their act.

If you ever decide to see New England for yourself, let me know.

Looks like a nice place, but service is very important!

Thanks for all your comments and for your concern. Denise is doing well. Now, if the rest of us can get better, we'll head home next week!

Re my other "secrets": I'll never tell! If I did, they wouldn't be "secret." ;-)

I wonder how bad was the service and how good was the food. I can't think of any Greek restaurants around here...

VP: I'm sure you have some "Greek" restaurants in Livorno. They are what Europeans consider "Turkish" or "Middle Eastern". Kristos serves hummus, felafel, gyros, etc. I'm sure you can find "Greek" food at any street vendor.

If you like Greek food, you'll probably like shopping on the Danforth in Toronto. :)

Here's me thinking that Hummus is Lebanese...

Lovely exterior, though. Maybe the service will get better with time.

Will you go back and give it another chance?
