Leftovers

Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo before this turkey was savagely ripped into and eaten by hungry Thanksgiving guests! He was stuffed to the max and made for quite the tasty dinner along with several delicious side dishes. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving feast.

We had leftover turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes with lingonberries for dinner last night! Yumm! Have you ever made soup with the leftover turkey or do you have a favorite leftover turkey hotdish recipe?

Ditto here! We are still eating leftovers and they are so good.

That poor bird didn't have a chance, did it? ;-)

Yes, we had a fine Thanksgiving and I ate some turkey. Lois Anne is a vegetarian. So she eats just about everything except the turkey.

Best turkey shot I've ever seen! Tells a terrific story about the feast! Typing with two hands now. Yippee!Getting a new Mac soon and as soon as I can operate my camera I'll be back in business!

Leif: We have German sides with our feast: red cabbage and Schwabish-style potato salad. Yumm! We don't make soup with the leftover bones - too much trouble.

Jacob: I am normally a vegetarian, but I eat turkey on Thanksgiving. I also usually don't cook meat, but I make the bird when we do the feast at our house. I got such a good reputation for it when I lived in Europe, I couldn't stop.

Kate: Glad to hear that you are recovering well!
