Marx-Engels Forum

One of the most recognizable landmarks in the former East is the Marx-Engels Forum. No good tourist can pass up the chance to be snapped with the two greats.

Hey, that's a great photo! I like your smile and happy thumbs up contrasted with their dour expressions.

Actually, I'm enjoying all of you photos. Looks like your have a great time.

Hope you are having a great time in Berlin. You are motivating me to post my pictures from my recent trip to Rome.

I have never put Marx and Engels in the "great" category. Historically they were significant. Yet their mistaken ideas and warped view of history lead to the suffering of so many it is hard for me to use the adjective "great".

Who says the tourist is me? :)

And I don't think it was necessarily Marx's ideas which were bad, but more the interpretation and manipulation by others which led to the dark parts of history.
