Herr Frosch / Mme Grenouille

I was pulling weeds in my backyard this weekend when this little guy jumped out at me. He gave me a bit of a fright initially. But then I went in to get my camera.

He seemed to enjoy being photographed. He kept turning this way and that. And I swear he was looking at me!

You didn't kiss the frog? Shucks.

Who knows what riches you have missed out on. It is a beautiful picture, by the way.

Wow! You've taken some great shots since I visited last. And I really like your new masthead too.

Frogs are bouncing around here lately, too. I'm not afraid of them, but I'm now wild about them, either.

Super shots. I'm so glad that the frog had the good sense to wait while you got your camera so that you could get these to share with us.

Yep - I think he was a rather vain prince, in disguise.

I've also seen a frog in the front yard and in my compost pile. I'm not sure if it's the same guy or if he has some friends.

I'm not really afraid of frogs either, but they do startle you when they suddenly jump out of a pile of weeds or grass!

Looks to me like he was practicing his posing skills. Never know when he might land a beer commercial job.

He obviously was waiting for you. He captivated the frog. Really nice photos; amazing that he was so patient.
