Lemuria

Lemuria Books is Jackson's one locally-owned bookshop. It's a nice place to shop for something different or special. It's also in the same building as Broadstreet Bakery - a place I've been hanging out at quite frequently before rehearsals because they make great cappuccinos and brownies. I'll have to get a picture of the barista over there sometime.

Our show opens this Friday. I must admit I'm feeling a bit nervous, but I think we're going to be fine. And it really is a great show and will give audiences something to think about afterwards.

That is such a cool sculpture! Perfect for a bookstore.

You'll be fine! Try to get someone to take a picture of you in action! :)

I'm sure it'll be a great show. Now go get us that barista shot. That'll give you something else to think about instead of feeling nervous.

I love bookstores and I think I'd love this one for sure. Great sculpture!

Books and bakery would be the financial and physical ruin of me! I'd better stay away! ;-)

Good luck with the play. I'm sure you will be wonderful!

Do they still say "Break a leg?"

I hope "break a leg" will be fine...

I don't know how much you like mushrooms, but Broad Street's portobello mushroom panini (I think it's a panini), is to die for! I am not a huge fan of vegetarian items like this, but that sandwich is exceptional!

That sculpture gives me the creeps. Looks like someone is coming out of a grave. M.... for Friday. Can't say that in English, can I?! ;-)

Jacob: They do still say break a leg. Unless you're French and they say "merde".

cookingbride: I do like mushrooms and have often contemplated that sandwich. My fave thing is the crawfish tail salad though (minus the bacon and the nuts). It's very tasty!
