I have decided to post a picture of a local church each Sunday. There's no shortage of them around here - so it will be awhile before I've exhausted all the options!This church is the third in a row of three churches all on the same street. I wonder if they vie for "business" - one of the others is Methodist denomination and the other is simply the Victory church. Ridgecrest has a nice steeple as well as a very elaborate website. I never knew churches were so technology-savvy!

Gosh, this project will keep you busy for several years of Sundays since the Jackson area has so many. Nice idea....Marty Kittrell of Vicksburg does does this with the steeples and crosses, etc. on local churches here....quite interesting theme.

This is a very unique looking church. I like the color - I don't think I've ever seen one that shade before.
Almost all the churches are some shade of "brick" around here! Keep checking back on Sundays for more.
I like this architecture! Posting churches on Sunday is a good idea. I just haven't done it yet myself.
