Are glads hard to grow? I don't really have a green thumb for flowers.

GDP: I guess they're not too hard to grow as I don't have much of a green thumb either!

The only problem I see is the flowers are so heavy, it's a good idea to put a stake up once you see a bloom coming out. Otherwise they fall to the ground.

«Louis'» mother would love this shot. Glads were one of her very favorite flowers. She grew glads everywhere «Louis'» family lived when he was growing up.

Louis: I have some yellow glads that I plan on planting sometime too. It's just been too hot to get out there this summer!

These glads were all planted last year and came back. Those are the kinds of flowers I like! :)

How lovely to have such beautiful things growing in your yard. Does it take a lot of work? That's one thing about cactus, you don't have to do much to them! :)

Glads are such pretty flowers. I wish I didn't associate them with funerals.

I really like Glads but don't have any. My Mother-in-law had rows of them so I enjoyed hers. that red is RED!, MB

Beautiful! Love the white edges. They make the picture look so.....crisp.

Side note, did you really take this picture with a Nikon Coolpix? I may have to go pick one up.

wow. How beautiful.

Paz: This photo was actually taken with my Nikon D3000. But my Coolpix does take great pictures. I would definitely recommend any type of Nikon camera.
