Downtown

A side view of Hal and Mal's restaurant. It's a popular place to dine and be entertained in downtown Jackson. They have several different rooms where live bands play and sometimes even theater events are staged there. It's always a fun place to go.

Please enjoy JDP on auto pilot until I return.

It looks wonderful. I love the charcoal grill. No place with a grill out back is a bad place.

Evidemment Olivier arrive toujours avant moi avec ce que je veux dire ! Moi aussi j'aime bien le côté "vieux" enhanced by the lamplight.

The picture is actually the side of the building, which has one or two apartments. The grill belongs to an apartment dweller.

The restaurant and bar entrances are down the right side, which is the front of the long old warehouse that was located beside a railroad track. The Merchants Company was a wholesale grocery if I am not mistaken.

Love that they kept the old sign on the building!
