The Jackson Zoo formerly had a small herd of elephants, but unfortunately they were sold to the Memphis Zoo last summer. A zoo seems a little lonely without elephants, but this restaurant is still there. Although I think they should change the name!
I'm going to be in Toronto all next week to check things out. I have started working on a new city blog. Please take a look at the test run and let me know what you think. Have a great weekend!

A very strange building... and ciel is right: I do like the Toronto bench (and the block bench of a few days ago),
I'm okay with calling it the elephant house as I imagine that the regulars to the zoo over the years have always known it that way... Very interesting construction, but after all it was an elephant house!

Well, not changing the name at least keeps a bit o' history to the building... or maybe a hope they return. They have wonderful memories they say. hahahah
